Vista - Installation under Vista RC2 (Build 5744)?

Is it possible to install PowerShell under Vista RC2 (Build 5744)? I keep
getting a message that says "The update does not apply to your system".
However, the package is definitely not installed.

Any help, advice or insight will be greatly appreciated.

Microsoft did not release a version of PowerShell that will install on Vista
build 5744. The last release was for Vista build 5600 (RC1). The installer is
configured to only proceed for the correct build.

The RTM (final) release of PowerShell 1.0 is for the RTM release of Vista (build
6000).

It does not exist [yet].

The RTM (file) release of PowerShell 1.0 is for Windows XP and 2003.
