Deploy PowerShell using GP

Is there a suggested way to deploy PowerShell using group policy? It would
be nice to find a prepackaged msi file for this.

This won't happen - PowerShell is part of the OS and is not deployed
with MSI's (although I dareseay you could create one from scratch).

Why not install it with a logon script?

Re: Deploy PowerShell using GP

Hi Tyson,

Windows PowerShell is an optional OS component and is not part of OS
directly. There is a /quiet mode available with the installer executable
that does the installation without any user intervention. You can place the
installer executable on a (your internal) network share and install the
software on various machines as per your needs.
