Vista - HowTo: Convert int/Byte/Byte[] to Hex

I would like to be able to convert int, byte, or byte array into Hex format.
Specifically for Hash Outputs.

I notice that the Format-Hex (PSCX) does Files and Streams. Maybe this can
be added?

Format-Hex will handle byte arrays:

gc foo.dll -enc byte | format-hex

as well as byte values e.g.:

[byte]45 | format-hex

Or you could do this for scalars:

"{0:X2} -f $someint

Is there an easy way to convert an int to a bit array?

eg, converting an int into an array of true/false conditions to apply to a
switch
