Amazing!

I've been running this on my old (XP) laptop for a while but wasn't
aware of all this stuff! Now, if only MS would release the Vista
installer so I can get this on my desktop (sigh!) [yeah, I know about
the installer hacks and have used them, but now on a fresh Vista
install and don't want to break anything for the final PowerShell
Vista RTM...]

Thanks Karl - great!

Re: Powershell Analyzer video

yes, Ngening should speed it up dramatically.. i'm using a number of
large libraries, that are getting compiled into P-code each launch

Re: Powershell Analyzer video

That worked great.. Thanks

Time for one more (don't want to make you my personal support guy, but no
one else to ask )
Any time I hit an error, Analyzer stops processing what ever script I am
running... It doesn't matter what I set the ErrorActionPreference to... it
just stops. How can I make it abide by ErrorActionPreference?

example: I have a script that installs a hotfix (using psexec) on all my
machines. I do a ping, but sometimes they just get in this "state" where you
can ping, but nothing else... when I hit one of these servers... Analyzer
just stops the processing with whatever the error is.

Code:
DST patch already Installed on [SERVER123]
DST patch already Installed on [SERVER124]
DST patch already Installed on [SERVER125]

Installing DST fix on NJBBA0PS126
-----------------------------
T:\EXE\psexec.exe \\SERVER126 c:\install\dst.exe /quiet
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
POWERSHELL EXCEPTION
EXCEPTION
TYPE:System.Management.Automation.CmdletProviderInvocationException
MESSAGE:The network path was not found.

POSITION:

May I ask... Now that you and Tobias have joined for
www.powershelllive.com, might we see PowerShellIDE and PowerShell Analyzer
become one some day?
