Adding snap-in located on remote machine

I want to manage the Exchange 2007 server from a remote machine using
Powershell.
To do this I need to load Exchange
snap-in(Microsoft.Exchange.Management.PowerShell.Admin) in to the
"Windows Power shell" running on non-Exchange server machine.

I am using "Add-PSSnapin" to add the snap-in.
Please let me know if there is a away to access the snap-in located on
remote machine.

Thanks
Ramesh

Re: Adding snap-in located on remote machine

This is just a guess... but you should be able to install the "admin"
interface for Exchange 2007.
If you do so... I think that will do it for you.

RE: Adding snap-in located on remote machine

Easiest way would be to install the Exchange tools on the admin machine.

Otherwise you need to copy the dll containing the snapin to the admin
machine. If not using 64bit admin machine then will have issue and will need
to get 32bit version. Will also need the help file

Instructions on registering & adding the snapin are given here
