| | RE: Should "script" be listed as a "reserved word" Given the recent post on the matter I think it should be. I wonder if there's any other words that aren't on the reserved list thta should be? Time for a complete check? -- Richard Siddaway Please note that all scripts are supplied "as is" and with no warranty "Andrew Watt [MVP]" wrote: > I wonder if "script" should be added to the list of reserved words > found in the help file about_reserved_words. > > One for Connect? > > Andrew Watt MVP > |

| | Re: Should "script" be listed as a "reserved word" it's perfectly legal (and trouble-free) to have a variable called $script, or a function called script. Your issue was "script:" e.g. script-colon. global:, private: script: and local: all have the same "problem." just avoid them. It's all a bit hairy though, I agree. - Oisin Andrew Watt [MVP] wrote: > I wonder if "script" should be added to the list of reserved words > found in the help file about_reserved_words. > > One for Connect? > > Andrew Watt MVP |
