| | Can PoSH Override ToString on Hashtable` Here's an enhancement request. Modify the System.Collections.Hashtable wrapper to override ToString with a more useful version. Currently we get this: 10> $ht = @{e={$_.Name};asc=0} 11> $ht Name Value ---- ----- e $_.Name asc 0 12> $ht.ToString() System.Collections.Hashtable # <-- The type name isn't terribly useful What I would like to see is this: 13> $ht.ToString() @{e={$_.Name};asc=0} This is especially handy if you are building up command strings to use with Invoke-Expression and you want to see what the command string is. -- Keith |
