Info: Anyone have a generic Object XML serializer for Powershell?

I wanted to check before I go through the trouble of writing one (not fun!)

Something Like
PS> Serialize-Object $myobject -XML t:\myfile.xml

and
PS> deSerialize-Object -XML t:\myfile.xml -variable $dSerializedResult
or
PS> $dSerializedResult = deSerialize-Object -XML t:\myfile.xml
