In an effort to be able to use the win32_product object in some
scripts on Windows XP SP2 (32 bit) I am trying to install "windows
installer provider" using the Windows Components applet. In the
section: Management & Monitoring Tools, there are two options (both
checked) SNMP, and WMI SNMP Provider.
The option to install the WM Windows installer provider does not
exist. Any ideas why this would be the case or how to install this
provider in some other fashion?
