| | Understanding Get-ChildItem Why do I get different results when executing [k:\photos] $> Get-ChildItem 200[3-6] -recurse -filter:*.jpg and [k:\photos] $> Get-ChildItem 2003,2004,2005,2006 -recurse -filter:*.jpg The first one does not find any files at all. Without the -filter parameter, the output are identical. I think it is a usability problem with Get-ChildItem in that it is hard to predict the behaviour when adding parameters -filter, -include and -exclude. /Staffan |
