write-output array without C/R

Hi,

I have a two element array called $tt with contents:

"one"
"two"

When I write-host "testing with $tt[1]", I get:

testing with two

When I use write-output with $tt[1]", I get:

testing with
two

Is there a way to make the output look like write-host where I don't have a
C/R with it. I need to use write-output so that I can pipeline.

Thanks in advance,

Frank

Re: write-output array without C/R

You need to enclose the $tt[1] in $().
Like
PS C:\> $tt = "one","two"
PS C:\> Write-Output "Testing with $($tt[1])"
Testing with two
PS C:\>
