| Guest | Workaround to MS recursive paremeter bug I was going nuts trying to figure out with what was wrong with a couple statements that used the recursive parameter. When I was trying to move or copy items with that parameter and the "-include" or "-exclude" it wouldn't do it recursively. I found on another website that there is a known bug MS is working on. Here are workaround exampels: get-childitem C:\ -include *.mp3,*.ogg,*.wma,*.mpg -recurse | Move-Item -destination C:\test get-childitem C:\ -include *.mp3,*.ogg,*.wma,*.mpg -recurse | Copy-Item -destination C:\test get-childitem C:\ -include *.mp3,*.ogg,*.wma,*.mpg -recurse | Remove-Item -destination C:\test Hope this helps. |
