There is actually a pretty good "Getting Started" guide that comes
with Powershell. You should be able to get to it from Start | Programs
| Windows Powershell 1.0 | getting Started Guide.

Once you get started and into it, a good admin oriented book is
Powershell TFM, from http://sapienpress.com/

Finally, a great deep dive book is Bruce Payette's "Powershell in
Action" http://manning.com/payette/

Hope that Helps,

Andy

over at http://www.powershelllive.com tobias has started a tutorial
for beginners called "Mastering Powershell in your lunch break".. This
series should end up to be about 45 articles. currently with 7
published

you can go directly to it at

http://powershelllive.com/blogs/lunch/default.aspx . of course being
blog style the days are in the inverse order.
