| | RE: Powershell & Active Directory Theres a few places you can get information. There are a number of posts on my blog (see below) regarding PowerShell and AD. One of the User Group members has a good set of articles at http://www.leadfollowmove.com/ I would recommend that you get hold of the Quest AD cmdlets and start with those. There is some good documentation with them. Current beta handles users, groups and computers with more to follow. Can down load them from http://www.quest.com/activeroles-server/arms.aspx. There are also a lot of good examples of using them on http://dmitrysotnikov.wordpress.com/ -- Richard Siddaway Please note that all scripts are supplied "as is" and with no warranty Blog: http://richardsiddaway.spaces.live.com/ PowerShell User Group: http://www.get-psuguk.org.uk "orphan" wrote: > Im looking for some tutorial, whitepaper or anyting that get me going on how > to use powershell for AD administration > > Anyone have a hint for me? > > |

HI Orphan, I found similar issues. In the absence of examples out on the net, I have put my own up from experience of using PS and AD. They can be found here: http://www.leadfollowmove.com/archiv...ive-directory/ Apologies for the shameless plug ![]() HTH Cheers Adam |

The quest AD tools work well - and they've recently updated! -- Thomas Lee doctordns@gmail.com MVP - Admin Frameworks and Security |
