how to call win32 console app or bat file from ps script

I cannot find any examples and have not been able to figure it out myself.
Can anyone help me out?

I want to make the following command line call:

hxreg -n <string> -c <string> -d <string>

Thanks in advance.

if its an exe you should just be able to put the command with its parameters
as a line in your script
