Powershell and WMI: 802.11

Trying to get a list of active access points from the wireless card. The
following:

gwmi -name "root/wmi" MSNDis_80211_BSSIList | % {$_.Ndis80211BSSIList}

doesn't list a set of 'BSSIList object, but rather the obscure

'format-default : Exception retrieving members: "Not found "'

I'm guessing that my powershell just doesn't know how to deal with whatever
WMI is returning. It looks like I'm getting an array of ManagementBaseObject,
and I can't figure any way to use that.

RE: Powershell and WMI: 802.11

What OS are you using. On Vista I get a not supported error in PowerShell
and a 0x8004100C error in VBScript

RE: Powershell and WMI: 802.11

When I was searching Internet for information on MSNDis_80211_BSSIList there
were some references to problems with using it on XP SP2

RE: Powershell and WMI: 802.11

I get the same error. I'm also running WinXP SP2.
You should file a bug on connect.microsoft.com
