| | Tab Completion oddity This is an oddity that I came across when playing with the `n issue I posted about yesterday. I have called it "tab completion" since that is what it appears to be. Create a file ABC.txt in the current working directory. Type a command "ABC" and make sure that the cursor is after the second quote. Press Tab The text inside the quotes changes to ABC.txt which I didn't expect. Is this the intended behaviour? Andrew Watt MVP |

| | Re: Tab Completion oddity This is intended behavior. If a path contains space, it has to be single or double quoted. When you do a tab completion after "ABC", "ABC" is considered as part of a relative path from the current working directory. -- Wei Wu [MSFT] Windows PowerShell Team Microsoft Corporation This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
