| | Reset Permissions Hi Guys, I'm only learning powershell, but have just been asked to write a script that will do the following: Copy all the permissions from a large share drive, and then use these to reset all the permissions on a share that has the same name and structure on a server in a different site. The reseason for this is file replication software was used initially to keep these shares in sync, but because the folder permissions were screwed up at the start the file rep was stopped a few months ago. Now were at the stage were we still have the basic structure in both shares but we need to re- sync the folders, and its the permissions that are killing. I would really appreciate any help Thanks, Michael |
