    Server 2008 Creation error

    Hi,

I have purchased a 5 year standard certificate from Go Daddy. Following
    guidelines from

    http://sbs.seandaniel.com/search/label/SBS%202008

    and

    http://blogs.technet.com/sbs/archive...-sbs-2008.aspx

I chose the - I want to buy a certificate from a certificate provider option
on the SBS 2008 Network, Conectivity tab. I generated a certificate using
remote.mydomainnaim.co.uk, this is the name setup when I initialy installed
    the server.

On the Go Daddy website I requested a certificate and pasted in the one
    generated from my server.

    I recieve the following error:

When generating your CSR, the name in the Common Name field must be the
fully-qualified domain name for the Web site you will be using the certificate

I have limited knowledge of SBS 2008 and am not sure how toresolve this, any
    help would be gratefully recieved

    Thanks

    Susan

There is a SBS 2008 specific group, where some of the MS SBS team pops in
from time to time, so you might have better success there.

    microsoft.connect.windows.server.sbs08.

Instructions for getting to the NNTP version are off this page:

    http://connect.microsoft.com/cougar

Here's a link to the web version:

    http://connect.microsoft.com/cougar/...i/default.aspx
