Hi,
I have purchased a 5 year standard certificate from Go Daddy. Following
guidelines from
http://sbs.seandaniel.com/search/label/SBS%202008
and
http://blogs.technet.com/sbs/archive...-sbs-2008.aspx
I chose the - I want to buy a certificate from a certificate provider option
on the SBS 2008 Network, Conectivity tab. I generated a certificate using
remote.mydomainnaim.co.uk, this is the name setup when I initialy installed
the server.
On the Go Daddy website I requested a certificate and pasted in the one
generated from my server.
I recieve the following error:
When generating your CSR, the name in the Common Name field must be the
fully-qualified domain name for the Web site you will be using the certificate
I have limited knowledge of SBS 2008 and am not sure how toresolve this, any
help would be gratefully recieved
Thanks
Susan
