Software Assurance and SBS 2008 additional server

If I purchase Software Assurance for an OEM SBS 2008, am I allowed
to downgrade the second server to Windows 2003 R2 while keeping SBS 2008 at
2008? I need to get BlackBerry Professional on the network somehow
(apparently won't run or isn't supported on anything 2008) and was
considering either a virtual server or another real server to run that. I
really wish people would see that BlackBerry has abandoned the small
business market and go with ActiveSync instead (cheaper, easier, better all
around), but people seem to be hypnotized by BlackBerry for some reason, so
    I'm stuck with it.

There are blackberry apps that add activesync support....as an alternative.
    Best of both worlds...

The down grade rights from SA only permit you to downgrade everything...not just selected piece
and remember that if you downgraded to SBS 2003 R2, that doesn't include a second server
