Companyweb......

    Companyweb......

I need to configure companyweb for remote users, preferable not open direct
to internet but accessible via ' https://fqdn/remote '

Server in question is SBS 2003 premium and found these instructions...

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/838304

Surely this cant be right in todays technological advancement! Document is
Dec 2007. Change registry entries ! AND more importantly if I run CEICW the
registry entries get changed so I have to remember this configuration and
    change registry entries again.... :-)

This refers to ISA 2000. This server has SP1 with ISA 2004. Am I to assume
same steps for ISA 2004 or does anyone know of other instructions ?

I think you just run the CEICW with 2004 as I recall.

I think your right Susan. I believe that KB relates to SBS 2003 RTM and the
problem it fixes was addressed in SBS 2003 SP1. So re-run CEICW, select to
enable the firewall, and on the Web Services Configuration screen, select to
allow Windows Sharepoint Services Intranet Site.

Thank You both for your input but your suggesstion is what I did initially
and it didn't work hence my research.

TWO NIC server, 444 open ( inaddition to 443 and 4125 ) I am seeing
reference to port 80 needing to be open, surely this cant be right?

Works fine internally Cant understand why it wont work from ' remote ' page
and doesn't even work from fqdn:444

    Thanks Again
