Join workstation to the domain AGAIN...

I have trust relationship issues in rejoining an XP pro client back to the
SBS 2003 domain. Don't really know how the client became unjoined from the
domain but it is. I have tried all I know to do, but either I get a network
error (non specific) or trust relationship error.

When I use the http://sbsservername/ConnectComputer from IE 8.0, I am unable
to execute the wizard however when I do the
https://sbsservername/ConnectComputer the wizard launches as normal but the
end result is the workstation does not join the domain. Help.... Thanks!

Why not justaadd it the manual way? Control Panel > System > Computer
name. Stick it in a workgroup and reboot. Then put it in the domain.

    I manage nearly a dozen SBS2003 and R2 networks, with roughly 200
computers. And I've not used the ConnectComputer tool for any of them.
Sure, no doubt it's the preferred way. But you won't go wrong doing it
manually. Just remember to move the computer into the correct OU.

    HTH,

Some more details might help like eventid's, ipconfig/all, etc.

Is this the only workstation you have had this problem with or are there
others? Did you delete the original computer object in ad or 'reset' the
    computer account before rejoining?
