Password box comes up when starting Outlook 07

I have SBS 2008 installed, and my Users are connected after running the
Connect wizard to connect to the domain. When starting Outlook, we're getting
teh "Connect to domainname.com" box, and the password won't take. For the
user name, I've tried "domainname\Username", just the user name, but no
matter which I try, the password or user name is not accepted. I eventually
just cancel out of this box. I'm perplexed as to why this is popping up at
all, and why the password won't work. Thanks for any suggestions.

You probably need Update Rollup 9 for Exchange. Check out "Outlook
    Repeatedly Prompting for Authentication"

    Geordie;
I see this is a question that just keeps on coming. Since I applied
the rollup, the server has been very well behaved. I hope you also
have such good luck. BTW: you did not mention, is mail working anyway?
    Despite these messages popping up?
BTW2: I looked extensively for a 'why' or from where this message was
coming from ... I did not find an answer. But at least the rollup
    solved the problem.

Thanks for your reply. I should have searched a little more before posting
the same question as so many others! But in answer to your question, yes,
mail is working anyway. I told my client to just cancel the password box for
now. I will apply the rollup to resolve this situation as soon as I am able.
I'm confident, after hearing from you as well as others, that all will be
    well.
