ACT! by Sage BusinessWorks OK on SBS?

I have a customer who has decided to install ACT! by Sage on his SBS2003
server. I sets itself up in the Admin "Mydocuments" which to me is a bad
place to set up an shared folder with all user all privagles access. I
suggested he contact their support and go back and set it up on another
    drive.

Have any of you had any experience with ACT! on SBS? Its a customer database
management tool of some kind I believe.

    Joe,

No experience here but I found this article from the Sage Knowledgebase
which talks about moving the location of the default database and other
    folders. Maybe it will help.

    ------------------------------------------
.... you can resolve this issue by changing your default database path to a
location on your hard drive, outside of your user profile path

I suggested he try installing it on another drive where I had set up SQL and
some other programs. Tech support had told hoim it "had" to be on the C:
drive. I suggested he should give it a try anyway.

I have had some experience with ACT! Let's just say that I was as
unimpressed with it as I am with most software today. It's big, bulky,
fragile, and slow. Be careful with it.
