    Replication

Running an SBS2003 and an additional 2000 TS server do I need the
    replication enabled on the TS?
    It's throwing

"Following is the summary of warnings and errors encountered by File
Replication Service while polling the Domain Controller \
\server.domain.local for FRS replica set configuration information.

Could not bind to a Domain Controller. Will try again at next polling
    cycle."

If it's only a TS I reckon it shouldn't need the FRS running. Can
someone correct me if I'm wrong?

Did you make the TS a domain controller ? It is not adviced and not
    necessary.

Its not a DC. It runs only as a terminal server. I noticed that in
other places some file member servers also run this service. Thanks

....says that once it was a DC with a FRS replica set and likely it was rudly
and improperly forced to *not* be a DC.

A metadata cleanup would be required to remove the FRS replica for this
    server.

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...78(WS.10).aspx

But *always* have a verified complete backup of AD and any server you are
working with prior to doing anything like this.

Probably should start with a dcdiag /c /v

As to the dcdiag command, I won't be able to run it on that server as
    it's not a DC.
