    Hello,

what is a procedure to move to standalone components from sbs 2008. In
version 2003 there was a transition pack but I cant seem to find one for
    2008.

__________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4788 (20100120) __________

The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus.

There is no transition pack for SBS 2008. You can migrate to EBS, or migrate
to standalone. But there's no special way to do it.
