    MAPS "stuff"

Don't know of a usergroups for this, but I know many of you subscribe to
MAPS. Aside from the install disks for all of the programs, how far back - if
any- do you keep any of that promotional materal?

Are the Beta disk wort keeping for any reason once the final product is
released (I can't imagine why they would be, butI've been wrong before)

Betas go bye-bye as soon as the product goes GA, Promotional stuff that I
don't care about goes away immediately. Promotional stuff which is useful
stays around until it is either superseded, or for an out-of-date product,
or I just have no need of it, at which time it goes away (ave. longevity is
about 6 months). Disks for products that I do not use, support, or ever
suspect that I'll use go away. Product disks that I use or might use I keep
until the product has been replace and I no longer use the old version.

P.S. You are away that the MAPS usergroups are now called Forums that you
can access on the MS Partners web site?

I've been part of MAPS for several years, 4 I think - I have only kept
the CD/DVD material that has FULL USE licenses, none of the beta or
sample media. The same with my ISV media....

I tend to download the ISO images and burn them to CD/DVD and place the
new license keys with the media, in the old AP media case.

We used to keep everything forever until we switched to an
electronic-only subscription. Now I have to confess that we hardly look at
    any of it.
