I'm running an SBS 2003 server.

I can connect my Windows Mobile phone (Samsung Blackjack I) using ActiveSync
on the phone w/o any problems. However, when I try to sync my HTC Android or
iPhone I get errors. For both devices, I can see they're talking with the
server by purposely entering an incorrect password, at which point I get a
bad credentials error. On the Android phone, once authenticated, I just get
a blank screen w/o any folders. On the iPhone, once authenticated, it
responds "cannot get mail; the connection to the server failed"

Have you installed the certificate? If not disable SSL on your iPhone
and test it.

Thanks for your post and others' input.

Besides, make sure you have applied the latest updates for your SBS server including Exchange server 2003 SP2 before you configure iPhone to use Exchange ActiveSync.
