exams on MCSA (security) hoy many 4 or 5?

    Hello from Spain,

i'm preparing for the 70-350 exam thinking that's my last one fot the MCSA.
I took 70-270 (windows xp) 70-290, 70-291 (core exams) and thought with
another one (the 70-350) was enough. But a friend told me there's one more
exam to take: 70-299. You have to take two exams on security (that's my
specialization). Does anyone know if that's true? And if it's true, can you
post a link with related books ?

The following is the MCSA roadmap. Take a look at what you've already taken
and passed, and what else you'll need.
    http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en...mcsa.aspx#tab2

From what you said, you've taken the following required exams:
    70-290
    70-291

Then you picked a client operating system:
    70-270

Now you need to pick one elective. There are over 20 of them, including if
you had already passed a CompTIA exam, which counts towards it. Click on the
link I provided to see the complete list. The two you mentioned, 70-350 and
70-299, are both electives (in the list) and either one can be chosen.

As for books, there are numerous books on the subject. You can search Google
(or Bing) for MCSA. I actually prefer the Microsoft courseware. But then
again, that's what I use all the time.

    Good luck!
