"testing" with shares and filesystems have become hard to debug. It'd
be easier for you to state, for absolute certainty, of who the mac user
shows up as when windows deals with it, and then make certain of the
group and/our user permissions on both the share and filesystem are set
for that user. The easiest I've found, is to create a NEW share on a
NEW folder and have only administrators (so you can edit perms) and his
permissions listed. If he gets denied, it's not who you think it is.
