    Ca I make this package?

    Hi all,

The vendor software has msi file. When it installs, we need to input ODBC
connection and database name. Just wonder if we can make the package which
includes all configurations, users just click it to install or through group
    policy?
Can anyone suggest any tool that can package all these configrations into
    msi package?

    thanks for your help.

    Hello John,

On the windows 2000 server install disk there was a tool included Winstall
LE. It exists also for 2003, not from MS, but free just google for it. With
that tools you can create your own .msi packages.

    Best regards
