    Hello AAM,

Where do you talk about? WSUS? Please give some more detailed information
what youa re trying to achive with which software on the servers and workstations
installed and if it is in a domain environment or workgroup. Also if WSUS
is used how you have configured the Group policy for it.

    Best regards

yes i'm talking about WSUS :

    the sceario as the follwing:

-I'm working with WSUS console and we use the AD (active directory to apply
the policy to the computers in the groups) (Windows Update Policy)

    - the test computere is connected to our domain and it is under one OU in AD

-In WSUS server: under (unassigned computer) group: all the computers
should be appeared after applying the policy including this computer

-Most of the computers appears (600 from 900) which was in the same OU
except 300 clients (including the test computer).

I hope the siution is clear for you

    Hello AAM,

Check the following article if machines are not shown in the WSUS console:

Re: Waiting a computer to appear in unassigned computer group

    I use simple troubleshooting steps:
    - On the WSUS client, issue command
    wuauclt -detectnow
(This should initiate conversation with WSUS server)

    - watch the results in
    "%Windir%\WindowsUpdate.log"
You may wish to search for possible error codes on the Internet.

Most of the time it works. It may need a couple of reboots though.

Last problem we had was cused by certificate. We use SCCM, and it requires
https. Hence, the client needs to trust SSL certificate. In domain scenario
this is not the issue, but in workgroup scenario, we need to import the
    certificate first.
