lol but yeah
this list is a lifesaver
I managed to be an idiot and got a trojan
I also had adaware tracking cookies *oh the joys*
and with some of the programs on your list
not only has it FOUND them it's also QUARANTINED AND REMOVED
just takes a reboot but I don't care
my norton antivirus and windows defender found squat and SUPERAntiSpyware program on your list
has found loads
most are tracking cookies but it's found 39 things
I only seemed to have ONE problem but seems I don't
i've always been careful of what I click
but that just isn't good enough
and it seems on the site there's alot of users who don't even have any system protection atall
i'd die if I had none lol

well I guess you can't count this as freeware
but it's free
when you're on youtube and you find a song you like
copy the link and go to

Zamzar - Free online file conversion

paste the url in there
and then choose the file format you need
type your email adress in and click convert
it sends a copy of that youtube file to you
so if you need the video click .flv
if you need the song click .mp3
then go to your inbox after a while
*depends on how many people are converting*
and download it
takes about 20seconds
but you have the song you need in the quality of that youtube video

sometimes it's even better
hope this helps
as sometime's i've done it when i needed a song and it's not buyable

omg I finished the scans with the stuff from this list

and a few trojans
it completly removed EVERYTHING!

you basically saved my laptop
plus my mum a bunch of money
i'm going to download some of this to her laptop
its ALOT BETTER THAN NORTON!

Just remember that a spyware program is not the the same as a antivirus program and they do not always search for the same thing. You should have both types installed for better protection.

I'm using
Norton
SuperAntiSpyware
SpywareTerminator
and I downloaded AVG as a back up
and amazingly the antispyware programs got rid of the trojan and virus on my computer and also the programs removed adware and spyware from my mums computer
I wanted to say thanks from both of us
and that they both work on XP

Did any one mention XnView yet? It a good utility for viewing and converting
graphic files.
