| Vista Home Premium 32 bit. SP1 & SP2 | Re: Free Software List for Vista Yes, thanks for the list. For a starter I am running AVG 8.0 Internet Security (paid version) as well as TuneUp Utilities 2008. If I install AD-Aware and Ccleaner will there be any conflict. Reason is that AVG does not delete cookies that contain adware etc. You can do this manually, but considering the above do I need to add anymore programs. Comments welcome. |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Free Software List for Vista Hello William, No, they should not conflict with each other. You might consider using Spybot Search & Destroy as well. You will get a conflict message about using it with Ad-Aware, but it will not cause any conflicts. ![]() http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html |

| Vista Home Premium 64 bit SP1 | Re: Free Software List for Vista Here's another freebie that works in Vista. A utility similar to SIW but it has the nice feature that you can select which system info you want to glean, then create an html report. It's called LookInMyPC I used it to create a nice hard copy of my Vista Services. It creates a Framed html document but you can either select Save Frame As or just print the Frame info from your browser to get a clean hard copy. Also it's on NoNags, CNET and some other sites so I'm assuming it's been checked for spyware etc.. |

| Vista Home Premium 32 bit. SP1 & SP2 | Re: Free Software List for Vista Thank you BRINK for the list, I had no idea that there was so much freeware out there for VISTA. I am using some caution by downloading one program at a time, that way if there is a problem I will know where it came from. I downloaded Ccleaner and it is great, It cleans up what AVG leaves and is a good sidekick to TuneUp Utilities. The menu is so great, what shall I try next. Great job as usual, THANKS. |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Free Software List for Vista Your welcome Slimy and William. William, I like the cookie (Options and Cookies) manager in CCleaner. You just enable the cookie for a website and when it appears in CCleaner, add it to the right keep side to prevent it from being deleted when you clear the IE browsing history. |
