Rawbery79, I used DVDFlick (DVD Flick) on my Vista 32-bit. Not sure if it works on x64.

Hello Julzx94,

I always liked Auslogics Disk Defrag + Auslogics Registry Defrag. They always worked great for me.

Balin, I've always used FormatFactory (free). You can download it from FormatFactory - Free media file format converter.

Some like SUPER©: http://www.erightsoft.net/SUPER.html.
Thanks for the links. I will give them a try tonight

Thank you Julzx94. VistaBootPro has been removed. It's a shame.

Re: Free Software List for Vista

Hi Shawn,

It is available free from plenty of places , including here

VistaBootPro | System Resources Tune-Up. Download | PC World

I already had it , but just d/l and and installed another copy from the above link to make sure.

It is not terribly clear, but I suspect if you get it direct from Pronetworks , the fee includes support.

Re: Free Software List for Vista

X-Mouse Button-control v1.37 enabled me to program buttons on a logitech trackball where there were no options available. It is a free download and has lots of options for reassigning buttons. It may be what people are looking for.

It has warmed up to minus 4 F. here yuck

Hi Fireman,

Did you ever manage to change the name of the computer maker, etc in the way you wanted to ?

If so, how?

Thanks
