Hi There,

I have converted to Vista Ultimate x64 eventually. Everything is working quite well and I have not had any issues except 1...

The Only issue I am having is with Google Talk. IT runs fine, then suddenly for no apparent reason. The Error code is below. Is the any reason or anything I can do to fix it, as I love my GTalk and would really love to get it running.

My Computer

I am running Vista Home Premium on Toshiba Satellite A135/S4637 laptop since July 2007. things were working smooth since recently.

During the gtalk/Skype voice chats Vista used to freeze. This problem used to occur every 10-20 mins and i had to reboot the system manually.

On manual reboot i saw BSODs few times only but before i could read and understand the message system used to reboot.

I tried to reinstall the soundcard driver (Realtek HD Audio). but the situation didnt improve.

As a last step, i installed Vista fresh on my system along with all the relevant drivers. but system still hangs while using gmail voice call. i didnt see BSOD after Vista reinstall.

Now i see even during text messaging gtalk hangs but not the OS.

I did some google about vista BSOD and messenger. many have suggested BIOS upgrade. But i am not very familiar with BIOS upgradation rather keep it untouched.

Please guys suggest me something that i can do to make gtalk work on vista

My system specs are as follows:

Processor : GenuineIntel® CPU [email protected] GHz
RAM: 1 GB (which i will soon upgrade to 2GB)
System type : 32 bit OS
OS : Windows Vista Home Premium
