Re: Shockwave Player now Vista Compatible

Hello Brink

It might be Vista compatible but on my
machine it's not DEP compatible!

I have DEP enabled in System Protection
and in IE 7 Pro. My CPU is also DEP capable.
As soon as I try to download it IE crashes.
I don't see any sense enabling
DEP to make exceptions, kind of defeats the
purpose to me! I guess I'll live without it.

Thanks anyway for the update Shawn

Re: Shockwave Player now Vista Compatible

Ok, downloaded, installed, rebooted, but no sign of it. The only evidence of the installation is when i go to add/remove programs, where Shockwave 11 player can be seen there. Very odd. No shortcut, icon, nothing.

How to check if Shockwave Player is working

You can test your Shockwave Player here. The two movies will show if you have Flash and Shockwave Players installed. The version numbers of the both Players will be displayed in the test movie. To find out what the current version of the Shockwave Player is, check the Shockwave download page.
