thanks i will try that i have a ps2 keyboard but not a mouse might have to buy one. also in the tutorial it says to buy a keyboard/mouse thats vista compatible how can i tell
i have tried the disable and when i came out of sleep keyboard and mouse were frozen. have also downloaded the latest driver from the manufacturer maybe i just turn the monitor off and forget about sleep mode
Hello code_one, Normally I won't butt in when Brink is answering because I know less than 1% of what he knows. However, since Brink did not mention it, perhaps I'll chip in. There is, or was , an optional windows update called " other hardware Hid Non-User Input Data Filter ". It is designed specifically for wireless mouse/keyboard. If you don't have it installed, make a trip to windows updates, see if it's still there. If not, you'll have to install Intellipoint software, then go search for the optional update. As to how to tell if the mouse is compatible to Vista or not, it couldn't be more easier. If the package has a Windows logo on it, it's compatible.
