System Administrator Question

Hi, can anyone help, I was updating my Ipod and Safari downloaded, I went to uninstall and the message is" The system administrator has set policiesto prevent this installation." Then a message appears "you do not have sufficient access to uninstall safari, please contact your system administrator." Thank you in advance for any suggestions or help.
