Vista - iTunes not working

iTunes not working

I recently had to do a clean install of vista (my hard drive stopped working) and so I had to reinstall all my software. Well I have two versions of iTunes on my computer (x86 and x64 versions) and I've installed the x64 version and i get this error message whenever I try to start up iTunes, but it installs with no problem.



So I then tried the x86 version and I get the same thing.... any ideas?

I'd remove the x86 version. They may be conflicting with each other. The x64 one works fine.

Problem Solved!
1. Uninstalled EVERYTHING made by apple on my computer
2. Downloaded quicktime separately and installed
3. Installed iTunes x64
4. Ran Disk Defrag (Just in case)
5. Started up iTunes with no errors
Still don't understand it but it works so I won't complain.
