Vista 64 and Photoimaging Software - Pro or Con

For those of you who are using the various flavors of Vista 64 and photo imaging programs like Photoshop CS3, Lightroom, Nikon CaptureNX and others:

What differences do you see with your photo editing in Vista 64 as compared to XP 64?

Pros or cons?

Thanks,

Mel

Re: Vista 64 and Photoimaging Software - Pro or Con

I have used photo editing software on both and have seen no diffrence, that is they both display the same amount of colours at the same resolution. The difference would be in the way a piece of software written for vista would operate. When software for vista is written then you may notice a slight change because of the way vista handles memory and other under the bonnet devices. At the moment I am using paint.net as I refuse to pay alot of money for software when there is good free software available.
