Re: Running a little hot

Thanks Ted thats just what i needed.

My CPU is running at 50C, mobo 33C, GPU 60C and HDD at 29C. I reckon thats a bit hot so gona turn my chassis fans up a notch. Just have to put up with the increased sound.

Has been pretty hot here this week so guess that could have an impact.

Re: Running a little hot

I use coretemp 0.98.1.
Core Temp

When under a heavy load I run around 61C (and as high as 65C once), which is a little higher than I'd like. I had arctic silver on my zalman, but then read that the SG1 is a little better, so I cleaned the AS off and put the SG1 on. I think my idle temp is a little lower, but I never saw the temp go above 60C before.

@FrustratedMan - you should be using CoreTemp 0.99....

@eggyuk - There is also SIW | System Information for Windows by Gabriel Topala - another great free utility.

Also, there is http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php

Re: Running a little hot

I just d/l CT 0.99 and it's great - I've got the Logitech G15 keyboard, and .99 has a readout so I can keep an eye on the CPU, temp's, and voltage without having to view windows. Thanks, johngalt!
