When using word, pre-Vista, under format -text I could "hide" highlighted text. I do not see how to do that in Vista and the help info is not helping.

TIA

I'm guessing you're using Office 2007?

The following screenshots show you how to hide text in a Word document:

Select the text you want to hide, then click the Show Dialog button under Home/Font

Add a check to Hidden, then click OK
