This release is quite interesting for a few reasons

I hope it eventually matures, Konqueror and Koffice are really good apps I hope to see mature into stable Windows releases, Then I can recommend poeple use these instead of VirtualMachine running a whole Linux distro just for a few free excellent apps since they are better than openoffice and Firefox

The 0.9.2 version installer has a download bug, just click ignore for packages with the "no error" Error bug and it should work

Re: KDE on Windows

I never really liked KDE, always thought it was bloat. I'll have to check out hte project though, because if it offers a simple installation like Cygwin, whereby I can install only those products I *want*, (obviously including hte relevant lib files) then I am golden.

OK apparently I was wrong, the installer downloads an incorrect list of mirrors...You need to add http://winkde.org/pub/kde/ports/win32/releases/unstable/latest/ as your download mirror before it downlaods the very latest (the latest bleading edge) version of KDE4Win, then it works correctly.

Amarok in Vista

Konqueror on Vista

It still has many features it needs included from the Linux release

Re: KDE on Windows

amarok is a media player? Looks nice, might give it a shot although I quite happy with winamp.
