Problems Installing Adobe Acrobat Professional

Hi,

I am new to Windows Vista 64. I am trying to install CS3. All of the programs will install except Adobe Acrobat Professional. I get the following error message:

The file 'Adobe.PDF.dll' on Windows Vista CD-ROM is needed. Try the path where the file is located and then click ok.

Windows Vista was installed on the computer when I bought it so I don't have a CD. Any suggestions on what I need to do would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

When itl asks you to insert the Windows Vista CD-ROM to find AdobePDF.dll, go to the AdobePDF.dll_64 in DATA1.CAB which is included in the Adobe install files. Copy the file to your system and rename it AdobePDF.dll and point the install program to that file.

Regarding the error "The file AdobePDF.dll on Windows Vista CD-Rom is needed" when installing Acrobat 8 Professional...
The solution offered here was perfect! Thank so much for the help!

On the Adobe CS3 Design Standard installation DVD, the path to the file needed is:
D:\Adobe CS3 Design Standard\Adobe CS3\payloads\AdobeAcrobat8en_US\Data1\AdobePDF.dll_64

Follow the instructions listed, and viola!
