Picasa Versus Windows Picture Viewer

I run XP and use Picasa on one computer and all is wonderful. I download all my pictures from my camera into Picasa. I am then able to manage all my pictures and my picture files using Windows "My Pictures". Even though I download into Picasa, they "automatically" show up in My Pictures. When I need to edit stuff, I go back to Picasa and as long as I save the files, the edits show up in the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. My problem involves a new Vista computer. On that one, the "Pictures" viewer only has a few of the images that are now in Picasa, not any of the ones that came from the camera. I am still going from the camera to Picasa as I do on the XP machine. Does anyone know why they all don't show up in both places like they did for me in XP? Can you tell me how to see them in both viewers? I have looked for a toggle but I'm not having any luck. :huh: Thanks for any help!
