| Vista Ultimate x64 | mySQL on Vista x64 Hi did anybody had luck with installing mySQL on Vista x64 withoutr any "voodoo" tricks ? I spent half of the day playing with 5.0.67 and 5.1.29-rc both x64 versions and no luck. Finally I tried version 6.07 alpha for x64 and this works. I'm little bit afraid to use alpha version. Is there anybody using any previous versions of mySQL which works "out of the box" ? Regards Piotr |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: mySQL on Vista x64 I guess nobody here uses mySQL. Finally after second time mySQL 6 alpha destroyed my data I get rid off it. Forgot about mySQL x64 version, downloaded and installed mySQL 5.0.67 32 bit. Now everything is back to normal. I wonder why x64 versions of mySQL worked perfect on XP x64 but none of them worked on Vista x64 so far for me. Piotr |
