| Member | Resetting program I have an unusual problem that I hope someone can help me with. I recently updated my computer to windows vista home premium from basic. Well I have had no problems and actually lick premium (wish though I could get the dream backgrounds to work on premium... still on to the problem; I had a program installed, well now I can not find my install disk for that program, every thing backed up correctly and I can still run the program from my old install but every time I start it I get a error message. Failed to update the system registry please try and use regedit. This is something I have never tried to do use regedit to fix this type of problem, is this something I should try... To be honest though I do not even no where to start, I have done a few things in regedit but I am real cautious for good reason doing anything in regedit and will not just try something unless I know what I am doing. |

| Member | Re: Resetting program Paint shop pro 7 is the program in question. It will run fine only has the annoying little start up window about the registry that I need to close before using the program. Will definatly not mess with registry unless I am sure I know what I am doing... |
