Is there any way to get live tv (ie - local stations, cable stations like Discovery and Comedy Central) on my computer by streaming off the net? I've seen the software that claims 4000+ satellite channels for a one time fee but their channels are from many different countries and they don't show a list of available channels (they probably don't have discovery, comedy central, sci-fi, etc.). I'm looking for something legit (monthly fees ok) and that has plenty of HD content and I do not want to have to use a video input card.

i haven't seen anything that you can stream off the net with hd you better have a good isp with fast connection and unlimited download
