| Windows 7 RTM 64-bit | Re: cd rom not working Hi Rjay, could you elaborate some more on the issue. You said that the cd rom is not working. Is it unable to burn, read, play or boot? What's the exact issue with the cd drive? |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: cd rom not working Hi Dinesh, I've deleted lower filter in Registry and rebooted so I can now see the Rom drives and execute manually from them but I can't get the autoplay working. I've configured the vista autoplay options but to no avail! I've checked the Registry values - all set to (1). I'm all out of options! Hope you can help or I'll have to re-install. |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: cd rom not working Dinesh, Sorry I should have added,- DVD doesn't load and play, Cd audio -the same. USB ditto. I had the scanner on the computer for 2 weeks and seemed to be working ok including the usb and rom drives. I installed another canon printer which placed a note on the desktop with info about Arcsoft photostudio having issues with Vista. So yesterday I uninstalled the scanner software. Today cd-rom drive wasn't working. |
